Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place printer on flat, stable surface near computer.

  1. Connect power: Plug power adapter into printer and wall outlet.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open cover, install black and color cartridges.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guide, insert paper into rear tray.
  4. Connect to computer: Use USB cable to connect printer to computer.
  5. Install software: Insert CD, follow on-screen instructions.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink contacts. Keep printer horizontal during setup.

Installing Ink Cartridges
