Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tapes from printer exterior and interior.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open cover, insert black and color cartridges in correct slots, close cover.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in rear tray, load up to 100 sheets of plain paper.
  4. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into printer and wall outlet.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink cartridge contacts. Keep printer away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts from installation software.
