Installation

2. Install the ink tanks: Open the front cover, remove caps from ink bottles, and fill each tank to the indicated line (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow).
3. Load paper: Adjust the paper guide in the rear tray and load plain paper.
4. Connect power: Plug the power cord into the printer and then into a wall outlet.
5. Turn on the printer using the power button.

WARNING! Handle ink bottles carefully to avoid spills. Do not touch the ink tank connectors. Ensure the printer is on a flat surface to prevent ink leakage.

First-Time Setup

CAUTION! Use only Canon GI series inks. Do not mix colors. Wipe any spills immediately with a dry cloth. Keep ink bottles out of reach of children.

Care & Maintenance

• Exterior: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
• Scanner glass: Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water.

• Paper path: Clear any paper jams gently following the guide in the manual.
