Wireless & USB Setup

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • USB cable (Type-B)
  • Power cable
  • Ink cartridges (included)
  • Setup CD or downloaded drivers
  • Wireless network credentials

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Prepare: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer. Install the ink cartridges following the color indicators.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Paper Loading: Load plain paper into the paper tray, adjusting the guides to fit the paper size.
  4. USB Connection Setup: For USB installation, connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable when prompted during software installation.
  5. Wireless Setup: For wireless installation, use the WPS button or manually connect through the printer's control panel to your Wi-Fi network.
  6. Software Installation: Install the printer software from the included CD or download the latest drivers from the Canon website.
  7. Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and alignment.
Warning: Do not touch the print head or ink cartridge contacts. Always handle ink cartridges carefully to avoid leaks.

Troubleshooting

Error Codes

  • E16 / E24: Waste ink full - Service required, contact support
  • E27 / E28: Print head error - Clean print head, replace if necessary
  • B200 / B203: Fatal error - Unplug for 60 seconds, contact service if persists
