Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials, tape, and protective covers from the printer.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, wait for print head to move to center, install color and black ink cartridges.
- Load Paper: Adjust paper guides in rear tray, load plain paper (up to 100 sheets).
- Power Connection: Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet, press power button.
- Software Installation: Insert setup CD or download software from Canon website, follow on-screen instructions.
- Connect to Computer: Connect via USB cable or setup wireless connection following software prompts.
- Alignment and Test Print: Run print head alignment and print test page to verify installation.
