Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Computer or mobile device
  • USB cable (if connecting via USB)
  • Router/Modem (for wireless setup)
  • Power cable
  • Ink cartridges (provided)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer and accessories.
  2. Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, remove the orange tape from cartridges, and insert them into their respective slots until they click into place.
  3. Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear tray and load plain paper (up to 100 sheets).
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.
  5. Software Installation: Insert the installation CD or download drivers from Canon website. Follow on-screen instructions.
  6. Connect to Computer: Choose either USB connection or wireless setup through your network.
  7. Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and alignment.
Warning: Do not touch the print head or ink cartridge nozzles. Keep the printer on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting
