Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- USB cable (if connecting via USB)
- Power cable
- Ink cartridges (PG-240 / CL-241)
- Setup CD or downloaded drivers
- Wireless network information (SSID and password)
Step-by-Step Setup
- Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover and install the black and color ink cartridges in their respective slots.
- Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides and load plain paper into the rear paper tray.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug into a power outlet.
- Install Print Head: The print head will automatically move to the installation position. Follow on-screen instructions.
- Connect to Computer: Connect via USB cable or set up wireless connection using the WPS button or manual setup.
- Install Software: Install the printer software from the included CD or download from Canon's website.
- Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and alignment.
