Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- USB cable (if connecting via USB)
- Wireless network information (SSID and password)
- Power cable
- Ink cartridges (included)
- Setup CD or downloaded drivers
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer and accessories.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, remove the orange tape from cartridges, and insert them into their respective slots until they click into place.
- Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear paper tray and load plain paper.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.
- Install Print Head: The print head will automatically move to the installation position. Follow on-screen instructions if applicable.
- Connect to Computer: Connect via USB cable or set up wireless connection using the WPS button or manual setup.
- Install Software: Insert the setup CD or download drivers from Canon website and follow installation wizard.
- Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and alignment.

Troubleshooting
