MG3620 Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • USB cable (if connecting via USB)
  • Wireless network information (SSID and password)
  • Power cable
  • Ink cartridges (included)
  • Setup CD or downloaded drivers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer and accessories.
  2. Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, remove the orange tape from cartridges, and insert them into their respective slots until they click into place.
  3. Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear paper tray and load plain paper.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.
  5. Install Print Head: The print head will automatically move to the installation position. Follow on-screen instructions if applicable.
  6. Connect to Computer: Connect via USB cable or set up wireless connection using the WPS button or manual setup.
  7. Install Software: Insert the setup CD or download drivers from Canon website and follow installation wizard.
  8. Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and alignment.
Warning: Do not touch the print head or ink cartridge nozzles. Keep the printer on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight.
