Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • USB cable (included)
  • Power cable
  • Ink cartridges (CMYK set)
  • Installation CD or downloaded software
  • Network cable (for wired connection)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer. Keep the box for future storage or shipping.
  2. Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, wait for the print head to move to the center, and install the four color ink cartridges in their designated slots.
  3. Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear tray and load up to 100 sheets of plain paper.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Computer Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable or set up wireless connection.
  6. Install Software: Run the installation software from the CD or download the latest drivers from Canon's website.
  7. Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and print quality.
Warning: Do not touch the print head or electrical contacts. Always turn off the printer before connecting or disconnecting cables.
