Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer. Keep the box for future storage or shipping.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, wait for the print head to move to the center, and install the four color ink cartridges in their designated slots.
- Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear tray and load up to 100 sheets of plain paper.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Computer Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable or set up wireless connection.
- Install Software: Run the installation software from the CD or download the latest drivers from Canon's website.
