Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging tape and protective materials from printer.
  2. Install ink tanks: Open front cover, remove tank caps, insert tanks firmly until they click.
  3. Load paper: Adjust rear paper guide, insert paper print-side down.
  4. Connect power: Plug power cord into printer and wall outlet.
  5. Power on: Press POWER button on control panel.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink tank contacts. Keep printer horizontal during setup.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts on LCD.

  1. Initial ink charging: Printer will prepare ink system (takes several minutes).
