Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from printer.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open cartridge cover, insert cartridges in correct slots (black, cyan, magenta, yellow).
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in rear tray, load up to 100 sheets.
  4. Connect power: Plug power cord into printer and wall outlet.
  5. Turn on printer using power button.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink cartridge contacts. Keep printer away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on printer; follow on-screen prompts on control panel.
