Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from printer.
  2. Connect power cord: Plug into AC outlet and printer power port.
  3. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, insert PG-240 (black) and CL-241 (color) cartridges.
  4. Load paper: Adjust paper guides in input tray, load up to 100 sheets.
  5. Power on: Press POWER button, follow on-screen prompts.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink cartridge contacts. Keep printer away from heat sources.

First-Time Configuration

Power on printer; follow setup wizard.

Ink Replacement:

  1. Open front cover, wait for cartridge carrier to move to center.
  2. Press cartridge down to release, remove old cartridge.
  3. 3. Remove new cartridge from packaging, remove orange protective tape.
  4. Insert cartridge until it clicks into place.
  5. Close front cover, printer will align print heads automatically.

Maintenance: Run nozzle check and head cleaning from printer software if print quality declines. Clean exterior with dry cloth only.
