Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- USB cable (Type B)
- Power cable
- Ink cartridges (PG-275 and CL-276)
- Installation CD or downloaded drivers
- Computer with Windows/Mac OS
Step-by-Step Manual Installation
- Unpack and Setup: Remove all packaging materials from the printer. Place on a flat, stable surface near your computer.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug into a power outlet. Turn on the printer.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, wait for print head to move to center. Install black (PG-275) and color (CL-276) cartridges.
- Load Paper: Adjust paper guides in rear tray, load plain paper (up to 100 sheets).
- USB Connection: Connect USB cable from printer to computer (do not connect to USB hub).
- Driver Installation: Insert installation CD or download drivers from Canon website. Follow on-screen instructions.
- Manual Printer Addition: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Add Printer. Select "Add a local printer".
- Port Selection: Choose "Use an existing port" and select USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB).
- Driver Selection: Click "Have Disk" and browse to driver location. Select "Canon TS3500 series".
- Printer Name: Name printer "Canon TS3522" and complete installation.
- Test Print: Print test page to verify installation.
