Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack the Printer: Remove all packaging materials, tapes, and protective covers from the printer.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the ink cartridge cover and install the provided Canon ink cartridges according to color indicators.
- Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the paper cassette and load plain paper up to the maximum mark.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
- Connect to Computer: Connect via USB cable or set up wireless connection using the control panel.
- Install Software: Insert the setup CD or download drivers from Canon website and follow on-screen instructions.
