Driver Installation

Follow these steps to install the printer driver on your computer.

  1. Unpack printer and remove all protective tapes.
  2. Connect power cable and turn on the printer.
  3. Install ink cartridges (PGI-570 Black, CLI-571 Color).
  4. Load paper into the paper tray.
  5. For USB connection: Connect USB cable to computer.
  6. For wireless setup: Use WPS button or manual configuration.
  7. Insert installation CD or download driver from Canon website.
  8. Run setup.exe and follow on-screen instructions.
