Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging tapes and protective materials from printer interior.
  2. Install ink cartridges: Open front cover, insert PG-545 black and CL-546 color cartridges until they click.
  3. Load paper: Adjust paper guide in rear tray, load up to 100 sheets of plain paper.
  4. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into printer and wall outlet.
  5. Turn on printer using POWER button.

WARNING! Do not touch print head or ink contacts. Keep printer away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

First-Time Configuration

Power on printer; follow setup wizard on computer or mobile device.
