Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- USB cable (included)
- Power cable
- Ink cartridges (PG-240/CL-241)
- Setup CD or downloaded drivers
- Wireless network information (SSID and password)
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Prepare: Remove all packaging materials and tape from the printer. Place on a flat, stable surface near power outlet.
- Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, wait for print head to move to replacement position, install color and black ink cartridges.
- Load Paper: Adjust paper guides in rear tray, load plain paper (up to 100 sheets), adjust guides to paper width.
- Power Connection: Connect power cord to printer and wall outlet. Press power button to turn on.
- Software Installation: Insert setup CD or download drivers from Canon website. Follow on-screen instructions.
- Connectivity Setup: For wireless setup, use WPS button or connect via USB first then configure wireless settings.
- Test Print: Print alignment page and test page to verify proper installation and print quality.

Troubleshooting

Error Codes

- B200: Fatal error - Unplug for 60 seconds, then retry
