Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • USB cable (included)
  • Power cable
  • Ink cartridges (4-color set)
  • Setup CD or downloaded drivers
  • Network information (for wireless setup)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Prepare: Remove all packaging materials and protective tapes from the printer.
  2. Install Ink Cartridges: Open the front cover, install the four color ink cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) in their designated slots.
  3. Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the rear paper tray and load plain paper (up to 100 sheets).
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the printer and plug into a power outlet.
  5. Computer Connection: Connect via USB cable or set up wireless connection using the WPS button or manual network setup.
  6. Install Software: Run the installation software from the provided CD or download from Canon website.
  7. Test Print: Print a test page to verify proper installation and print quality.
Warning: Do not touch the print head or ink cartridge contacts. Install ink cartridges immediately after removing from packaging.

Troubleshooting
